Evesham Talking Newspaper

Description

We are a locally based team of volunteers, providing digital audio recordings for anyone who is blind, visually impaired, or for whom an incapacity makes reading a strain.

Our aim is to help anyone who would benefit to stay in touch with what is happening in their community, and enable them to be aware of local issues. Our recordings also include articles of general interest from various magazines.

We distribute recordings by post, on a small memory stick, to those living in Evesham and the surrounding area. We also provide, and demonstrate the use of a small portable player for listening to our recordings.

We are always looking for people to volunteer to be readers, editors, copiers, and technicians. All training is provided for these roles.

If you would like to enquire about joining us, please call Fran Webb on 07801 983112
